Mean Girls Yarn Club!! Come on and Join!

Hey Everyone!

I would like post some info on a great yarn club with a great name that is currently open for enrollment! Mean Girls Yarn Club!! How awesome is that name!??!?! It is affordable(in my opinion) and looks like you get a great amount of yarn for the money! Here is some of the roolz from the website but see the link below for all the details and more info on the club itself! When you sign up, list list the name of me and/or my videocast, Knittin on the Fly, in the "special instructions to the seller". To be honest, she is doing a promotional drawing for podcasters, bloggers, etc, that we get an entry into a drawing for a skein of yarn or for a membership. Here is the link if you are a blogger, podcaster, videocaster, etc. So go check it out and see if you wanna join... I might join anyway... and give away the stuff, if I'd be lucky enough to win! :) Enjoy!!!!

Here is the direct link:

MGYC details!!

* The colorways are to be club exclusives. It’s all super secret until you get your installment. It will remain super secret for no less than 2 weeks after the shipments are sent. NO SPOILERS ALLOWED!
* There will be a waiting list for those of you too slow on the uptake/with the clicky finger.
* For those members who choose the payment plan, members will make their initial payment when they sign up, and then be billed the final payments in October and again in February for the remaining balance. Please note, these payments are 4 months apart.
* If members choosing the payment plan become delinquent in payment, their membership shall be forfeit if their account becomes 30-days past due, and the remainder of their membership will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.

* It is the member’s responsibility to notify me if their desired mailing address differs from the one listed in Paypal. It is also the member’s responsibility to notify me in a timely manner if their address changes. If I wanted to I could read your minds, but I prefer to use my evil powers for, well…evil.
* IF for whatever lame reason, you are displeased with your yarn, (and we don’t see why you would be. This is the MGYC, it’s implied that you get what you get and you like it) anyhow… if for some reason you and your colorway aren’t getting along, just follow these simple rules…

1. First and foremost…NO WANKING ALLOWED!
2. Email La or Tareshen aka The Evil Adminion, and in 50 words or less inform us of your decision.
3. We’ll put the word out to your fellow members that there’s an unloved, neglected, ABUSED skein of MGYC yarn out there in need of a good home.
4. We’ll put the abandoner/adopter in touch with each other, and you all can iron out all the payment/shipping details to your little black hearts’ content.
5. If, in the unlikely event that no one wants your castoff, you can do with it what you will, but only after 6 months.
6. If all else fails, see rule #1.

Episode 5: More Travel then Knitting

Welcome to Episode 5: More Travel then Knitting

Jetsetting:

Hello Mother Nature!!  Canceled all flights on Friday and we drove to Boston after a 14 hour work day, got locked out of ops room, had to sleep in the car in the parking garage, caught 6 am out of BOS before nasty part of storm showed up.  Had lunch, made our connection! yea!

Spent the day over in Corpus Christi, USS Lexington Aircraft Carrier(yea me), dinner at Texas Roadhouse, my favorite!

Drove 3 hours to SAT, got lost trying to return rental car, checked in, LGK had a great day at the checkpoint, Got to ORD with no seat as the flight was overbooked,(ugh first time I pay for a ticket in 10 years and I still have no seat until 2 minutes to flight time) but made it!!! YEA!!  Got to BOS, all flights canceled home, had to get a rental car and drive all the way back to Maine... what a whirlwind!
